How to post photos in this forum

Folks,

Photos are what this forum is about but it can be quite confusing to post a photo in this forum so here are some step by step instructions for doing so:

First, after logging in, go to your profile, click on the "Preferences" tab, scroll down to "Always allow HTML :" and make sure the "Yes" button is filled in. Then click on the "save" button at the bottom of the page.

1) Open one of your existing posts or start a new post.
2) If you are adding to an existing post click on the edit button.
3) Make sure you know where on your hard drive the photo(s) are that you wish to post. You may just want to move any photos you wish to use to a new folder called SMHS photos, forum photos, or whatever. Just make sure you know where those photos are.
4) Click on the little icon that says "host an image" when you roll your mouse over it.
5) Click on the Browse button and locate you photo on your hard drive.
6) Click on the "host it" button
7) In the next window click on the second "copy" button from the top to select everything in that middle box.
8 Once the text to the left of the edit button is selected you must copy that text by either hitting Control-C on a PC. (On the Mac it's Command-C which is the one with the little apple on it.) or going to your edit menu and pulling down to "copy".
9) now you may click anywhere in your message and "paste" the text at that point by either hitting Control-V (Command-V on the Mac) or by pulling down on the edit menu to "paste".

You and paste that text anywhere in your message.
